Audible: Audio Entertainment App Reviews

We use the audible app at home and when we are traveling. Never have had any trouble with the app. It is great to have audio versions of the books we are interested in.

Nice app! 4 things: 1) for the rewind/forward button to do something to let me know I pushed it. Like a quick color flip, or an audible click. 2) for the swipe mode to always be on, rather than something you have to activate. (Look at the Downcast podcast app... It does this very successfully). 3) I should be able to choose which buttons to display in the car mode. For example, I dont want the bookmark button, I would prefer a fast-forward button. I think the car mode should incorporate the swipe mode. 4) I wish The channel mode was easier to navigate. I find it very clunky. It takes way too many clicks to navigate to a book or playlist. - I love the dark mode. Wonderful!

The app works well, few problems observed. Very intuitive.

The tittle says it all!!

I like listening to great books but its a major inconvenience to have to use a desktop to download new books. I cant even download on my iPad which I use exclusively instead of my desktop.

LOOOOOOOVE The new car feature!! Still wish I could purchase books from the app rather than having to go to the website through my browser.

This app works great with my phone and it allows me to listen to books while Im doing all kinds of music mundane tasks like cleaning and straightening up. Each version is a little better than the prior one

Its always difficult making time to read but with this I can always find time in the car on my way somewhere. Ive listened to so many great books that I would have never been able to get through having to read them myself.

Great selection and this app has completely transformed the way I take in books. About doubled my reading rate and made my morning commute much more enjoyable.

Honestly Ive seen so many YouTube videos sponsored by this so I wanted to try and I love it so much (since Im very lazy)

They listened and added the features I requested! Old review: If you are only going to have two quick-select choices on the screen (speed & bookmark) make those configurable. Id much prefer sleep timer & button-free as my options but others have different use models. Also give the option to swap the screen color from white to black. I think the white looks pretty great, but agree that at times it will be too bright.

I really love this app. I havent experienced any issues at all with this version and I use audible with 4 different devices (iPhone, iPad, PC, and a Kindle). Great app and a great service! Keep up the great work. Update: 2017 and it still gets 5 stars. Fantastic app.

I love audible...but why why why cant you make purchases within the app? Incredibly frustrating to have to got to the website and sign in to make a purchase just to go back to the app the download and listen

Audible has changed my life. I have enjoyed all kinds of books, from ones I couldnt get through in high school English and American Lit courses to great lectures, to everything else. The app is easy to use, and I am always, as a result, enjoying a book in the car or at lunch or out for a walk. Absolutely, with no exaggeration whatsoever, a change agent in my life.
