Audible: Audio Entertainment App Reviews

I use this app every day. It is the best audiobook app that Ive found. The only thing thing which keeps me from giving it 5 stars is the way it just stops, without rhyme or reason on my iPhone 6s. I have all the latest updates, but its never done this before.

Cant survive traffic without this

The content is phenomenal! The app is good but there are a few issues that need to be addressed: 1) In-app purchases! Instead you have to go to the Internet browser, buy them then back to the app to download & listen 2) It doesnt automatically open the last book you were reading: There should be an option for this or make it standard. It gets frustrating scrolling through my books to find the one I was on. 3) Not sure if its just an iPhone thing, I will leave the app open and use my shortcuts to play/stop audible without having to unlock it. After a little bit of not listening it will not play anymore and I have to unlock the phone, go to the app (that was never closed) and find the book again. My phone does not do this with any other audio/video app which leads me to believe it is an Audible thing. 4) Every once in a while it will just randomly quit.

I enjoy this app a lot. Havent used my iPod since Ive discovered the app for the phone. Convenient and easy to use.

I have enjoyed listening to several books while I am in the car. It puts me in another world. I no suggestion on improvements.

While I no longer have an audible subscription, I still will buy kindle books and add whispersync for voice for only a few dollars. This app works very well and I like the ability to switch between listening and reading.

On the bus, in the car, in the workshop, anywhere. Dont know how Id live without it. And for my mom who is loosing her sight, its a sanity saver.

Entirely worth it for the avid reader!

I love audible because I can put in my headphones and listen to my books while Im cleaning, driving, working out, etc. I feel like Im always gaining knowledge without having to stop doing the things I need to get done anyway. 100 ✨ stars!!!

I rely on audible to get any reading done almost exclusively. I spend a lot of time in the car, and a lot of time knitting. My hands and eyes are free to take care of tasks and still Im able to enjoy books. This app is easy to use intuitively for the most part. As another reviewer said, it was hard to find the sleep timer. Both the bookmark feature and the sleep timer make it easy to listen as I fall asleep, without losing my place. Thanks, audible, for the bedtime stories.

I absolutely adore this app. Its so user friendly and a wonderful way to distract yourself from rush hour traffic.

I have been listening to books for more than 15 years.. from records to tapes to disks... Audible is easy to use ...fast for immediate gratification and well recorded..the best permutation so far.

It is really annoying. Every time I buy a new book, I have to log out and then back in to get it to show up in the app.

This app works great! Very easy to use. Pros: I can have several books in the queue at a time. I can also listen at different speeds which I appreciate. Room for improvement: It would be nice if I could control the placement of the books i.e. alphabetical order or last purchased/lady read. Overall, Im pleased with this app & recommend it.

Love Audible and the Audible app. I use it every time I go for a walk. Hundreds of hours so far. Wonderful!!

I love this app so much, its fun to listen anytime with or without the book!!
