I really dont know how I would get by without this app these days. I have a monthly subscription, and I listen almost everyday on my phone. Have it on my tablet and the hand off is flawless. When I set the speed to x3 it feels like Im Neo from the Matrix downloading information straight to my brain. They tend to have trouble sometimes after an update. I have had problems with books disappearing from my library, and forgetting my place in a book, but they usually get it sorted out in a few days.

"Kids books" may be a category but so is "Erotica" with no way of filtering it.

Not happy with the latest updates. Between the app deciding to jump to arbitrary positions and not being able to download....I am just plain frustrated.

App quit working in the middle of a book and right before a long trip. Called FIVE times and every time I called all they would say is delete the book and redownload it. Update the app then delete the book and redownload it. Delete the book then break it into 3 parts then download it again. Turn your phone off - huh?! - Im talking to you now... Downloaded another book and it wont open either. Very disappointed as I purchased this book and now its as worthless as their app support.

I keep waiting for the day when I can give this app more than 1 star. Seems unlikely to happen. Either the folks giving this a 5 star never saw this app when it worked right or they are getting something in exchange for a 5 star. Just has so many bugs. So frustrating that they cant get it right.

I love Audible and enjoy this app. I have a couple of suggestions though… You need to add a landscape mode!! This actually really annoys me. My phone is used in the landscape mode a lot and when I switch back-and-forth to audible everything is sideways. This seems like such an easy thing to add to the app. Additionally, I would love to be able to open things such as maps or family trees that are usually included in a book that are missing in an audible read. Anyway to add this in the app?

God forbid you pick a chapter. It will start at that chapter with every launch of the app. Emailed customer (dis)service - no avail.

Such a crap app. Just ended up relistening to 30 minutes of a book due to inability to save the location in a book. Make sure to use your credits before you cancel your membership. Any remaining credits are invalidated.

This is the best audiobook app. Thank you for making the app better again; the latest update addressed all of my previous qualms with Clips (quickly adding notes, playback speed, rewind from within a Clip, etc). One of the only improvements I can think of right now would be to browse & purchase books from within the app; its annoying I have to go to the website to do it.

Preorder books are not showing in the cloud when they are available. The bookmark feature was replaced by a clips feature which is not the same and frustrating. Im getting tired of the changes why change something thats not broken.

I love this app. Its like my best friend. I always have something Im listening to and learning from. Top notch.

listening benefits the brain just as much as reading does and its actually easier to retain info when listening

New version keeps stopping. Had to hit play 5 times in ten minute span. Customer service told me to logout, download new app, reload the book in high def. All of these steps you never had to do before. This worked for a few days. Now its is back to stopping every couple of minutes. Have been a user of audible for a few years now. Hate the updated version. Quite frustrating!!! Looking for a new audio app.

Seriously? This is ridiculous. Why cant you list the chapter titles? Also, why am I able to download to iTunes, but cannot play it via Apple TV? This is an unnecessarily irritating app.
